Welcome to Park High School, Home of the Wolfpack!  Mr. Herber
Our motto- We Run As One!

Vision: Park High School Scholars will graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly global and diverse society.

Mission: As a culturally rich community, we will ALL learn and grow together through diverse opportunities that foster culturally competent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking that enhance post secondary readiness AND contributions to local and global communities.

As an International Baccalaureate World School and an AVID National Demonstration school we are very proud of the educational opportunities available for students.  We have great students, a caring and dedicated staff, and a very supportive community!

We are a school rooted in tradition.  Park Hi has been serving the greater community for more than 100 years.  Park Hi moved from St. Paul Park to its current location on 80th street in Cottage Grove where it has stood since 1965.  Upon graduation, many of our alumni have chosen to reside and contribute to the good of our community.

To meet the dynamic needs of our community and the world, we have responded by developing curriculum and learning experiences  that are rigorous, relevant, diverse and engaging. To support the student learning experience, Park has had several renovations to core facilities and classrooms including modernization with the latest in technology for students and staff.

Additionally, Park High school staff are committed  to their own professional development on proven instructional strategies that meet the unique and diverse needs of Park High School students.  Our core programs include our International Baccalaureate Diploma program, which is recognized by colleges all over the world; Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) serves more than 300 students annually in their pursuits towards higher education; Trade and Industry programming that provides students with hands on experiences with woodworking, metal fabrication, construction, and engineering design through our modern Makerspace.

All students are welcome. Our staff strives to make every student feel safe, welcome, validated and heard.   Students have access to a variety of service professionals in addition to their teachers.  We have School Counselors, Cultural Liaisons, School Social Workers and Psychologists. These professionals are accessible through our Community and Inclusion Center, Wellness Center, and Counseling Office and are here to support student needs.

We hope every student that walks through our doors feels at home at Park High School.  Parents, and students are welcome to reach out and connect with me regarding any questions at  (651) 425-3704 or at therber@sowashco.org
