AVID

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), is a school-wide system to develop successful leaders in their communities and society.

AVID scholars focus on developing organizational, note-taking, and self-advocacy skills.  AVID is a college preparatory program that accelerates learning for AVID Elective students with rigorous, relevant instruction while building meaningful teacher-student relationships.
Students in grades 7-12 have the option to take an AVID elective course that teaches more advanced strategies that vary by grade level.
