Interview with Cami

What do you like about your sport?

I love the adrenaline. I like how fast-paced it is and the rush you get when you make a good play.

What do you like best about Park?

I like the environment. The students and the staff create such a fun environment every day.

What motivates you to do your best?

My teammates and their successes motivate me. They inspire me to push myself harder every day to become a better athlete and person.

Who is your role model? Why?

My role models are Gophers players Taylor Morgan and Stephanie Samedy. Taylor Morgan inspired me when I was a middle, and Stephanie Samedy is the reason I wanted to become a right side.

What advice would you give to athletes, especially those in elementary and junior high school?

Work hard from the start. It doesn’t matter how old you are. Let your failures guide you and your successes motivate you. Be proud of yourself!

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include hanging out with friends and playing volleyball.

What do you plan to do after high school?

I plan on going to a four-year university, possibly pursuing volleyball in college.
