Interview with Hannah
What do you like about your sport?
I like that tennis challenges my mental strength. Half of the sport is being able to stay tough mentally. This has helped me learn to manage my emotions both on and off the court.
What do you like best about Park?
I love the diversity here at Park. I think it is really cool to see people from all kinds of backgrounds come together to support each other.
What motivates you to do your best?
My team is what motivates me the most. They have always been there for me no matter what and I try my best to make them feel proud.
Who is your role model? Why?
My role model is Naomi Osaka. Not only is she an extremely hard working, talented tennis player, but she also knows how to balance the sport with her mental health very well.
What advice would you give to athletes, especially those in elementary and junior high school?
Whatever you put in is what you are going to get out, so always make sure you are giving your best effort.
What are your hobbies?
I like to play tennis, spend time with friends and family, and attend other games and events at Park.
What do you plan to do after high school?
I plan on attending a four year college. I have yet to determine which one, but I am excited to see where I end up.
