Scheduling Guidelines

Senior Study is now open for trimester 1.2.  It is due by October 14th.  You cannot apply for senior study if you already had one trimester 1.1.  Please complete the form below and email to your counselor, or drop off in the counseling office.

Special Schedule Options:

  • Senior Study may be requested once a trimester and can replace any single elective.  (Will not replace full year elective)
  • NOTE FOR SENIOR STUDY: Schedules will not be adjusted to accommodate senior study requests!
  • Deadline for Trimester 1.2 is Wednesday, October 14th at 3:10pm for the 2020-2021 school year

ALL SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR TRIMESTER 1 are closed. 

The Hybrid school model does not allow us to honor non-essential schedule change requests made due to the complexity of the schedule. We try our best to meet all students' needs. Any essential schedule change requests for trimester 1 must be submitted online via the Schedule Change Request Form by Tuesday, September 1st at 3:10pm for the 2020-2021 school year.

It is the student's responsibility to monitor their schedule on their Student Portal. All appropriate requests will have been reviewed but you will not a receive a confirmation message.

Essential schedule change request that may be considered include:

  • Prerequisite for the course was not met
  • There is an empty period in the schedule
  • Course has already been taken
  • Want to challenge yourself (move from a regular course to honors, IB, AP)

Dropping a Higher-Level Course (AP, IB, Honors) (Trimester 2 & 3 only)

  • Students may submit a request to drop the course for the following trimesters (Tri 2 and/or 3) for up to 2 weeks after current trimester midterms are posted.
  • Teachers have the discretion to approve/disapprove of the change
  • Form will be active at the end of trimester 1 

Dropping a Higher Level Course Form

Students who elect to withdraw from a course up to the midpoint of the trimester, will receive a "W/F" on their transcript.

Changes will NOT be made to accommodate:

  • Elective Changes (This includes full year electives)
  • Dropping a higher level course (Trimester 1)
  • Dropping an in-person course for the online version
  • Teacher requests
  • Lunch requests
  • To have the same class as your friend
  • Sports schedule

You must be logged into Google Apps account to access Google Form; password is your existing password.
