Restorative Circles & Memorial for Mr. Floyd

Virtual Restorative Circles & Digital Memorial for Mr. George Floyd

Dear Park High School Students,

Many of you have been affected terribly following the actions that led to the death of George Floyd. We know that you may be feeling numerous emotions. Our staff care about you deeply. We want you to know that we are here to support you, always, but especially during this time. We would like to provide you with an opportunity to have your thoughts and feelings heard in a safe and supportive environment. With that said, we are inviting you to join us, if you would like to, in a virtual restorative circle, participate in a digital memorial, or to find other ways (petitions, resources, help/support lines) to show your support in another positive way, if you wish.

Restorative Circles - Virtually
A Restorative Circle is a community process for supporting those in conflict. We are offering them as an opportunity for students to process with staff and each other Mr. George Floyd's death and related community events. They are currently scheduled for Monday through Wednesday next week. Park High School support staff will facilitate the discussions. Please sign up by completing this Google Form or by contacting Mr. Farley, Student Support Dean, at or (312) 772-5689.
