Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA)

Minnesota legislation enables college-bound students entering one of the 37 Minnesota State colleges and universities to be placed into credit bearing college-level courses based on their high school Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA) scores.

Scores from the grade 10 MCA Reading assessment and grade 11 MCA Math assessment will be used in the course placement process. Students who meet the designated MCA scores benchmark in a subject area are not required to take a developmental level course in that subject area. Students who obtained the MCA benchmarks in the upper ranges are not required to take the Accuplacer in reading and mathematics.

We do not release the official MCA score reports directly to the student. Park High School does not have the official MCA scores/reports. Please contact Renee Allen in the Office of Student Information, 651-425-6230 to send your scores.
