Scheduling Guidelines

Schedules will be available on Parent Portal and Campus August 16th. Schedules will not be printed. If you need help accessing your schedule online, please come to our Open House night Wednesday, August 28th from 6:00-8:00PM.

**9th and 10th grade students: you will see that you are enrolled in Embedded Health Zero Hour. You do NOT need to report anywhere for this class. Embedded Health occurs within your other classes throughout the year.

Our schedule does not allow us to honor non-essential schedule change requests made after registration. We try our best to meet all students' needs. Any essential schedule change requests for each trimester must be submitted online via the Schedule Change Request Form by Friday, September 6th at noon for the 2019-2020 school year.

It is the student's responsibility to monitor their schedule on their Student Portal. All appropriate requests will have been reviewed but you will not a receive a confirmation message.

Essential schedule change request that will be considered include:

  • Prerequisite for the course was not met
  • There is an empty period in the schedule
  • Course has already been taken
  • Inappropriate academic level

Changes will NOT be made to accommodate:

  • Elective Changes
  • Teacher requests
  • Lunch requests
  • To have the same class as your friend
  • Sports schedule

We are no longer accepting schedule change requests for trimester 1.

You must be logged into Google Apps account to access Google Form; password is your existing password.

Do not make an online request if you are requesting senior study, independent study or student aide, please fill out forms under "Special Schedule Options"!

Special Schedule Options:

  • Student Aide, Independent Study and Senior Study (these options require special forms and approval)
  • NOTE FOR SENIOR STUDY: Schedules will not be adjusted to accommodate senior study requests!
  • Forms available in the Counseling Office
  • Deadline for Trimester 1 is Friday, September 6th at noon for the 2019-2020 school year.

FORMS:

Dropping a Higher-Level Course (AP, IB, Honors)

  • Students may submit a request to drop the course for the following trimesters (Tri 2 and/or 3) for up to 2 weeks after current trimester midterms are posted.
  • Teachers have the discretion to approve/disapprove of the change
  • Print off form below and turn into the Counseling Office once completed with signatures
